Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients

  • 4 bell peppers. Any color.
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 white onion
  • 1/4 Broccoli
  • 1/4 Mushrooms
  • 1 cup Red sauce
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of Yummy Blackening Seasoning

Preparation – Sauce

  • In a sauce pan, add a little bit of oil and the chopped onion. Let it cooked until the onions are crystallized, about 3-4 minutes
  • Add the ground beef and sprinkle the Yummy Blackening Seasoning. Cook and stir until there is no more pink in the meat, about 5-6 minutes.
  • In a small pan, cook the broccoli and the musrooms until they are soft, 3-4 minutes will do.
  • Add them to the beef.
  • Pour 1 cup of red sauce of your choosing. Stir continuously to mix in all the flavors and cook for 12-15 min

Preparation – Bell Peppers

  • Cut the top of the bell peppers. With the help of a spoon remove the seeds inside. Be careful not to go too deep to make a hole at the bottom.
  • In an oven safe deep dish, place the bell peppers.
  • Pour the mix inside them. Sprinkle a lot of Parmesan cheese. Cover them with the top you cut off of the bell peppers, as garnish.
  • Place in the oven at 375°F for 15 min.

Serving 

  • The beauty of this meal, besides that it is absolutely yummy, is that you can fill your bell peppers with something different every time, it completely changes the flavor and texture.
  • It is best enjoyed when shared with friends and family.
