Blackened Soy Chicken

Preparation

The easiest, most yummiest way to cook chicken is right here. 

 

In the morning

  • In a rectangular glass baking dish, place all the chicken pieces.
  • In a separate small mixing bowl, mix all the ingredients: 1 cup of soy sauce, ¼ cup of white vinegar, squeeze the juice of 2 limes, 1 tbsp of Yummy Blackening Seasoning and 1 teaspoon of Yummy Seafood Seasoning. You won’t believe the flavors it brings on the chicken when mixing both our seasonings…. oh la la mon cher!
  • Now pour the mix all over the chicken, put it in the fridge and forget about it.

In the afternoon

  • Time to make the magic happen.
  • Cook in the oven for 35 – 45 minutes at 375F.
  • You’ll know it’s ready when the chicken has a nice dark brown crust.

Serving

  • A side of rice goes perfectly with it because it will be a very juicy meal. Mashed potatoes is another good choice for a side. 
  • Another idea, when baking the chicken to add a couple of halved sweet potatoes. That brings a nice touch to the meal and can serve as your side.
