Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 10 oz of beef broth
- 4 cups sliced onions
- ½ cup of unsalted butter
- 1 tsp of Yummy Seafood Seasoning
- Swiss cheese
- Provolone cheese
- Parmesan cheese
- Sliced French bread
Preparation
- In a saucepan, melt the butter, add the olive oil, and place all the sliced onions.
- Cook while stirring continuously for about 5 minutes until the onions are crystalized but, and this is very important, don’t let the onions brown.
- Pour the beef broth, and 1 tsp of Yummy Seafood Seasoning.
- Let it simmer for 25 – 30 minutes.
Bake
- Pour the soup into oven-safe individual bowls
- Place the French bread, either sliced or in small pieces like croutons
- On top of the soup, place the Provolone cheese (1 slice), the Swiss cheese (1 slice) and cover with a lot of Parmesan, about 1 tbsp per bowl.
- Set the oven to 375°F for 15 min until the cheese is completely melted and slightly browned.
