Yummy Beef Stew

Ingredients 

 

Preparation 

  • Rub the meat with Yummy Blackening Seasoning, cover them up good. The all-purpose Blackening Seasoning will bring out all the best New Orleans flavors and tastes to make this beef stew one to remember! 
  • This recipe can be cooked faster if you chop all the ingredients in advance: 
  • Cut the tomatoes in quarters
  • Mince the onion 
  • Slice the carrots 
  • Chop the celery 
  • Mince the garlic 
  • Cube the potatoes 

 

Cooking

  • Now let’s make that yummy beef stew. 
  • In a very hot medium-large pot pour about 2 tbsp of oil. Let the pot and oil heat up nicely and add the meat to seal the flavor, about 3-4 minutes each side. Retrieve the meat and set apart.
  • Bring the heat down to medium, add the onions and cook until they are crystallized. This will take about 3-4 minutes.  Add the garlic and stir. Be careful not to burn the garlic. 
  • Add the veggies: carrots, celery, peas, tomatoes, and potatoes. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until tender. 
  • Return the meat to the pot, pour in the beef stock, and add 1 beef bouillon cube and bay leaf.
  • Now, add 1 teaspoon of Yummy Seafood Seasoning. Why? Because it’s the intense and robust punch of thyme and our other secret delicious spices will enhance and marry all the flavors in the pot. 
  • Cover with the lid and let it cook for about 30-40 minutes. 
  • Stir occasionally, watching to make sure the potatoes do not come apart.

 

Serving 

  • Serve with a side of french bread or white rice.
